Dr. Sarkar, a professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering and head of the Rheology, Biofluids and Ultrasonics Lab in GW’s School of Engineering and Applied Science, is researching injecting microbubbles into a patient’s bloodstream to enhance the contrast of ultrasound images.
