Dr. Kausik Sarkar, Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, recently gave an invited talk at Virginia Tech’s Chemical Engineering Department titled, "A Tale of two topics: Bubbles for imaging, therapeutics and tissue engineering and A pair of drops in viscoelastic medium."

The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering) offers an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. Students majoring in mechanical engineering may also elect to study one of the several options offered by the department in: aerospace engineering, robotics, patent law, biomechanical engineering, or medical preparation.
