Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Professor Peng Wei was awarded a $1.2M grant by NSF’s Cyber-physical Systems Program to solve the current safety challenges surrounding the emerging area of urban air mobility applications.

The Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering) offers an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. Students majoring in mechanical engineering may also elect to study one of the several options offered by the department in: aerospace engineering, robotics, patent law, biomechanical engineering, or medical preparation.
