At the 33rd Symposium on Naval Hydrodynamics, held virtually from Osaka, Japan (October 18-23), it was announced that GW’s Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) will host the 34th Symposium on Naval Hydrodynamics in 2022. The symposium is the main international conference for naval hydrodynamics sponsored by the US Office of Naval Research. It is held every two years, and every six years in the US. Organizers expect approximately 200 participants from 20 countries. Dr. Philippe Bardet of MAE will be the lead host.
