Dr. Leftwich attended International Conference on Experimental Fluid Mechanics

Professor Megan Leftwich attended the 4th International Conference on Experimental Fluid Mechanics, held August 12-15 in Beijing, China, where she presented the paper “The Phase-averaged wake of a Vertical Axis Wind Turbine.” The paper was co-authored with MAE student Colin Parker and MAE alumna Danielle Barsky (MS ‘14).  For the paper and presentation, Prof. Leftwich was awarded the conference’s Young Researcher Award.
