Dr. Barba is a delegate at the Open Scholarship Initiative

On April 18-21, Professor Lorena Barba participated as an invited delegate in the 2017 meeting of the Open Scholarship Initiative (OSI), hosted by GW.  OSI is an international effort backed by the United Nations (UNESCO), private foundations, grants, and institutions to work on making the global research publishing system more open, complete, accessible and accountable.  On May 2, she gave the closing keynote at the Berkeley Spring 2017 Data Science Faire. Her talk was titled “Data Science for All,” and both the abstract and a video of the talk are available online.
