Ask an Alum Anything

The Nashman Senior Series is designed for graduating Nashman Center student leaders. Join your peers and Nashman staff facilitators to reflect on your time at GW and consider topics related to service after graduation, leading with your values as a new professional, and how to transition from your roles and partnerships.

What parts of starting a new role in public service were the hardest? How do I build community with like-minded civic engagement professionals? What resources are out there to help me figure out basic ‘adulting’ skills as I start my new job in a new city? Come hear from fellow Nashman staff and younger Nashman alumni currently in the workforce and bring your questions to young alumni who were just in your shoes to this session. Learn what they have learned so far, ask what they would do differently, and build further connections to other young professionals to stay in contact with after graduation.
